2023 Slingshot Space Rover Wakeboard

The Space Rover is the 4th rendition of our all-purpose wakepark directional wakeboard in collaboration with the Space Mob. This symmetrical directional design is built for trendsetters who aren't afraid to be the first of their kind, blazing a new path into the future of wakeboarding for all of mankind. Like the first folks to walk on the moon, you won't know the feeling without taking that leap of faith! If you're a progressive park rider interested in mixing things up and sprinkling a little space dust around the park, then hop on the Space Rover and join the Mob in their quest to create the most stellar and intergalactic wakeboarding community.

We made the Space Rover to make you say "whoa" followed by a "WOW" when you hit the water on it. This board is just one of the many ways we are continuing to explore the future of wakeboard designs in collaboration with the Space Mob.

ATOMIC WOOD CORE

Vertically laminated wood core construction is what gives Slingshot boards their signature flex performance. It's lightweight and durable, delivering superior pop, rebound, and that overall magical feeling in the park.

SINGLE-SHOT FUSION SIDEWALLS

Our innovative manufacturing process produces unrivaled dampening and durability by infusing the rail into the core of the board with a single shot, eliminating the need for fasteners or staples.

CARBON BEDROCK INSERTS

Light, flexible, and super strong, our Carbon Bedrock Inserts reduce overall board weight, increase pull strength and allow for a more consistent flex under foot.

BALLISTIC BASE

With .7mm's of bulletproof protection between your board and the surfaces you're sliding across, this base layer is ready for battle. Put to the test daily by some of the most daring park riders in the game.

CONTINUOUS ROCKER PROFILE

This continuous curve equates to faster board speed on the water, allowing you to ride for longer periods of time with less arm fatigue and delivering an exciting, fast, and fun feel.

CHINED RAILS

The toe and heel edges of the board are raised up approximately 4-5 mm, creating a small buffer zone between the edges of your board and uneven rail surfaces to help protect your edges.

WIDE TIP / TAIL PROFILE

The wide profile makes it easier to stay locked onto rails all the way to the finish and also provides more surface area to keep you on top of the water with less speed/effort.

EXTREME STANCE INSERTS

For those who choose to get even more radical, the vast spread of inserts allows for centered, directional, and downright ridiculous stance options for riders who know no bounds.

This boot is an evolution of our original two-piece boot system with removable liners that was introduced more than a decade ago. Fast forward to today and the Space Mob boot liners are the most popular forms of footwear at almost every wakepark in the world. The soft boot shells feature a removable tongue that allows riders to customize stiffness and combines with our signature Gummy Strap closure system for one of the most comfortable and supportive situations your feet have ever experienced.

Our Bottomless Base System maximizes riders feel and connectivity with their board and the water. Boot liner soles are in direct contact with the boards' surface, allowing for a more immediate transfer of energy.

GUMMY STRAP CLOSURE SYSTEM

Our Gummy Strap Closure System has changed the game for wakeboarders around the world when it comes to dialing in the perfect amount of pressure throughout the boot.

BUILT-IN J BARS

REMOVABLE / WALKABLE LINERS

Space Mob Removable Liners got an upgrade of reinforcements in 2022 with stronger materials, upgraded stitching techniques and more. They are built to protect wakeboarders on the world's rockiest shorelines.

CUSTOM FLEX OPTIONS

The Space Mob's removable secondary tongue allows riders to completely customize the flex of their boots. For those who prefer the most supportive boots, leave the tongues installed. For those who want a softer flex, run without.
